The Committee for Greater Shepparton was established to unite the region's business and community leaders to influence public policy, advocate on issues to strengthen the economy and make the region a more vibrant place to live.
The Challenge
The Committee felt their previous website was "outdated and too busy" and it was difficult to make changes to the website. This resulted in a website that was a poor reflection of the Committee's great brand showcasing old (and out of date) content.
The old website was not responsive, loaded slowly, and was difficult for visitors to navigate. These were key reasons why their website visitation was poor and engagement on the website disappointing.
With a newly appointed Executive Officer and Administration Officer the Committee were seeking a site that was "fresh and professional", embedded content from their social channels, and showcased all their events in an easy to navigate manner.
The Solution

Highlights include:
- A bespoke visual design to match their existing printed collateral.
- A custom event calendar showing all member, board and community events that the Committee are hosting or partnering on.
- Embedded feed from their Facebook Page that is styled complimentary to their website.
- Login requirement to access all Board documents
- Provision of a visual editor (BeaverBuilder) to enable simple editing by Committee staff.
