Time and again I am asked “what works with social media?” Many business owners recognise that to be successful they need to have a presence where their audience is, and there’s no denying that a large portion of everyone’s audience hangs out in the land of Facebook. In fact, with almost one-sixth of the world’s population on Facebook, or more accurately over 13.2 million Australian’s (as of June 2014) most businesses are leaving money on the table if they are not conversing in this medium.
But social media can be hard! With an already busy business life, adding another set of skills to your belt can seem a big ask. Or delegating it to another member of your team can seem daunting if you aren’t really sure how and where they should be spending their energy.
It’s a common misconception that just because a young person has grown up with social media that they have the skills to promote your business in a positive and valuable manner and grow your business at the same time. It’s like saying that just because a young person is able to spend their savings that they are equally skilled in growing them.
Let me guess… you just want to know “what works”? You want someone to tell you how Facebook can integrate with your business, and how you can use it as a tool to engage with your existing and potential customers to build relationships, foot traffic and eventually sales!
I’m putting together a 16 lesson e-course that will do exactly that. Here’s the details:
- 16 lessons will be spaced over 4 weeks. Each week you log in you will see four new lessons available. This is highly intentional as it gives you time to learn AND to implement before we progress.
- Each lesson will take about 10-15mins to work through. They are bite sized chunks, with attainable implementation steps each day.
- The content will be supported by a mixture of text, screenshots, video and a workbook.
- We’ll cover everything from establishing your sales funnel and a framework for everything you do on Facebook, examples of great content ideas, scheduling and productivity tools to maximise your time, policies and strategies to get your entire team on board if you wish, and so much more.
So, I’m polishing this course as we speak. There’s so much that I’m packing in that I’m struggling to keep it to an easy four week course.
As an added bonus, I’ve got a little more beta testing to do.
