Make an Introduction

We'll reach out

We will contact your referral, and guide them through our process. You can expect us to be reliable, fast, and communicate with your referral clearly through the discovery/scoping process.

Custom Proposal or Stock Service

If we are a good match, then we will provide them with a custom proposal or simply start them on one of our normal services. Either way, we'll aim to start delivering value to them as soon as possible.

Receive Your Commission

If they move forward, we'll send you 15% for individual projects valued under $2,000, or 10% for individual projects valued $2,000 and over (referral fee paid for the first 6 months of any recurring service).

Why it works

Referrals allow us all to focus on the things that matter. For us, it's delivering great work rather than finding leads. And for the referral, it's finding the right help as quickly as possible.

We appreciate that referrals are really an endorsement, and that you are putting your reputation on the line too. Although we can't promise that every referral will be a perfect fit, we can promise to treat them like we would anyone on your team. And that's the next best thing.

We really see referrals as a win-win-win.

Who makes a great referral?

We can't promise that every referral will be the perfect fit. But our favourite clients, the ones we have knocked projects out of the park with, have a few things in common. They are:

  • They've been in business for at least 3 years. They've spent some time figuring out their audience, the problem that they solve or the imact they make, and they have an idea what they need to do next.
  • They are open and transparent. This might mean opening the books and helping us understand what revenue looks like right now, or discussing secret ideas/plans for the future.
  • They are looking for a partner. I'm not talking business partners, but rather a collegiate way of working. We do our best work when we work with someone, not for someone. And we do even better work when we help empower other people in the referral organisation.
  • They are willing to invest in expertise and outcomes. The budget doesn't always need to be generous, but we do aim to deliver significant outcomes for all clients (in fact, if we aim to deliver a 10:1 ROI on investment). A project that has adequate resources, almost always hits it out of the park. Our sweetspot is delivering projects between $5,000 to $20,000.
  • The project is fun and interesting. This is a hard quality to describe, but all of us know it when we see it. The team is great, the project is awesome, communication flows easily... and we all deliver some smashing outcomes.

What commissions are paid?

  1. 15% for individual projects valued under $2,000.
