What's the hidden catch with the FREE video audit?

Let me start by saying that I carry out exactly the same audit as the paid versions. I use the same 40+ point WordPress Website Audit checklist, and you will still get the same quality of suggestions and improvements that you would if you picked up a paid audit.

The difference is that I'll create a video walking you through your audit report and I'll share that via my Regional Business Toolkit social channels.

But why?

I've worked with hundreds of businesses and organisations now across regional Victoria. And it's fair to say that many businesses struggle with the same things when it comes to their websites and digital platforms. You might have an absolutely unique product or service, but the way that you're able to improve your website are likely the same as many other businesses.

If I can share suggestions for your website with others then I'm confident that together we can help more businesses across the state.

There's only one slot per week. What's that about?

In short, doing the audit itself takes a considerable amount of time. Crafting a video response, editing it, uploading it to YouTube and Facebook takes even more. While I'd love to help as many businesses as I can, there's a limit to the number of these that I can fit in a week.

When you book your free video audit, I will reply and let you know if I'll be able to schedule your audit in the next week or two. If not, I can either add you to a waiting list or we can discuss moving you onto a paid audit instead.


Will you need access to my website?

Actually, yes.

Some of the website can be completed remotely. Some of it (especially regarding performance and security) is done by looking inside your website.

When you enquire, I will send you a link to a secure form where I will ask for your administrator login details to your WordPress website. I will install a single, small script reports reports and tables any issues inside your website. This script can be deleted after the audit has been run, leaving no harm to your website. 

How long does it take to complete the audit and receive my report?

I am generally able to complete your audit and send you your report within 3 business days of your initial enquiry.

I will let you know upon enquiry if there are any reasons why I may not be able to deliver your report in this time frame (perhaps there is a queue of audits to run, perhaps I'm unavailable, etc).

When will I be billed?

You will be invoiced when the report is sent to you.
